TopAgencies: a directory with ratings and clear terms
Elvisupdated 5 min read
A B2B directory of agencies with verification, ratings, filters and an educational blog. Here agencies are compared by their terms and reviews, not by ad promises.

The challenge
A creator looking for an agency to manage their page usually sees the same thing: nice websites, big promises and almost no information about the actual terms. What commission the agency takes, which services it covers, which platforms it works with, whether it has verified clients - all of this had to be worked out in separate conversations with each agency.
Comparing agencies with each other was even harder. The data was scattered, reviews were hard to verify, and "best of" lists were often paid for. The niche needed a platform where every agency has a profile with the same set of fields, and its place in the rating depends on data that can be checked.
The solution
I built the directory on Laravel and MySQL, with an Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS interface, and the site runs behind Cloudflare. I chose Laravel for a clear admin panel and simple handling of profiles, reviews and moderation. Alpine.js gives fast filters and on-page comparison without a heavy frontend.
Each agency has a profile with its type, services, platforms, commission terms and number of models. Profiles take part in the rating, and the rating method is published openly on the site. Next to the directory there's a blog: guides for creators bring in search traffic and lead readers to the agency comparison.
How the system works
OnlyFans agency rankings: how the order is calculated
Agencies that have verified the accounts they work with rank highest. The rest are ordered by client reviews. Public data is also taken into account, such as ratings on third-party sites and estimated website traffic, and it's calculated the same way for every agency.
A claimed listing, meaning the owner has confirmed the profile and linked back to the directory, adds no points. It only serves as a tiebreaker between agencies with the same score. That way nobody can buy a higher rank with a single checkbox.
Filter and compare agencies by their terms
The directory can be filtered by agency type (full service, boutique, specialized, coaching), by number of models and by services: promotion, fan chatting, SMM, content, content protection, legal support. The list can be sorted by rating, popularity, founding date, number of models and commission.
You can add any agencies to a comparison and see their commission, services and platforms side by side. The site openly advises building a short list of a few agencies, reading the reviews and only then comparing terms.
Reviews and profile verification
Only logged-in users can leave a review, and it isn't published right away but after a holding period. Reviews that turn out to be fake are flagged and don't count toward the rating. An agency owner can reply to a review, so readers see both sides.
Blog, job listings and platform comparisons for SEO traffic
Around the directory there's useful content: guides on how to choose an agency, what its percentage really costs, what belongs in a fair contract and which signs give away scammers. These pages answer creators' search queries and bring in people who are already choosing an agency.
There's also a section with agency job openings, a software overview and a comparison of creator platforms by commission and minimum payout. Each of these sections is one more entry point from search.

Who it is for
Projects that need a directory, marketplace or company rating with filters, reviews and SEO traffic. It works well in niches where clients find it hard to compare offers on their own.
Project FAQ
Can you build a similar directory or marketplace in another niche?
Yes. Profiles, rating, filters, comparison, moderated reviews and the blog aren't tied to a specific niche. The set of profile fields and the rating rules are configured for your market.
What is the directory built with?
Laravel and MySQL, with an Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS interface, and the site runs behind Cloudflare. This stack is easy to maintain and works well for pages that need to be indexed by search engines.
How long does development take?
It depends on the number of profile fields, the rating rules, whether you need review moderation and how much content you need at launch. Message me on Telegram, and we'll go through the task and estimate the timeline.
How does the directory get search traffic?
It comes through profile and category pages, plus a blog with guides that answer the audience's questions. Each section covers its own type of query, so traffic doesn't all land on the home page.
